Q: I already have an alarm, and I have insurance, so why should I spend more on equipment security?
Conventional security for businesses and homes is based on attempting to keep intruders out, with alarm systems, locks, window bars and other means. Determined thieves will circumvent all means of security and steal your valuable equipment. Even a rapid response time from a monitored alarm system is not sufficient. Operating in teams, thieves can gain entry and steal entire computer network systems in minutes - long before police can respond. If losses are claimed on insurance, many companies are forced with increases in premiums and deductibles, and eventually, denial of insurance their coverage.

Q: How does marking my computers prevent them from being stolen?
The permanent and contrasted inprint is not removable without damaging the equipment, therefore diminishing the thieves resale value on the "black market". Thieves get paid to steal clean, unidentifiable equipment. Police have also told us, thieves do not want to be caught with someone else’s marked equipment in their possession where they can trace ownership. They will simply go somewhere else. There is an abundance of unmarked equipment for thieves to steal - and they do - every 30 seconds of every day!

Q: What types of equipment do you recommend to mark or lock down?
Our low cost permanent marking system is most effective for notebooks, monitors, printers, fax machines, scanners, TV's/VCR's and any portable equipment. We highly recommend maximum lockdown security for anywhere data is stored such as CPU towers, desktops and network servers; also for laser printers.

Q: How do you mark the equipment? What is the process, and how long does it take?
Our unique marking system is performed on site, is completely mess and waste free. No equipment needs to be moved, turned off, or unplugged thus making it possible for the inprinting to be completed during office hours with minimal disruption. A template in your company script style is placed on each piece of equipment, then our unique controlled sandblasting technique is utilized to actually embed your name/logo into the surface of the equipment. Each inprint takes approximately 8 to 10 minutes.
